ماكينيو (16 نوفمبر 1996) هو ممثل ياباني ولد لأب وام يابانيين.[2] وهو نجل الممثل والفنان القتالي سوني شيبا.[3][4][5] صعد ماكينيو إلى الشهرة بعد تصوير دور Arata Wataya في ثلاثية الحركة الحية Chihayafuru في عام 2016، والتي أكسبته جائزة الوافدين الجدد من أكاديمية اليابان الأربعين لهذا العام في عام 2017.[6] قام منذ ذلك الحين بتصوير الشخصيات في العديد من التعديلات الأخرى لسلسلة المانجا الشهيرة، بما في ذلك مغامرة جوجو العجيبة: الماس غير قابل للكسر الفصل الأول (2017)، طوكيو غول إس (2019)، الشرير يوكيشيرو إنيشي في روروني كينشين: النهائي (2021)، بطل الرواية Pegasus Seiya في Knights of the Zodiac ورورونوا زورو في سلسلة نتفليكس ون بيس (2023).

In high school he did gymnastics, water polo, and wrestling, becoming the school representative for the latter. He was also into music, playing piano since he was 10 years old, and later participated in the brass band of his high school in Beverly Hills, playing saxophone, and flute. At the age of 15, Mackenyu watched a Japanese movie and the actor who starred in it inspired him to pursue acting professionally in Japan. He held on to the dream of co-starring with the actor once he established his acting career in Japan.
